Join DSA members for a conversation with Scott MacCormack, executive partner at Holland & Knight, about what draws leading law firms to Seattle, what they’re experiencing on the ground and why connection to the downtown community matters.
While the Holland & Knight name is relatively new to Seattle, its local team is not. Members of the Seattle office have deep roots in the region, with decades of experience living, working and building relationships here.
Drawing on that local perspective, we’ll discuss today’s business environment, the value of being part of the downtown community and what companies need to continue investing and growing in Seattle.

Join us for our next Member Roundtable with The Union, a Black-owned creative hub in the heart of downtown Seattle bringing together artists, entrepreneurs, educators and creators.
Founded in 2018 as a program of the nonprofit Pan African Center for Empowerment, The Union has evolved from an education and coworking space into a creative hub with multimedia production capabilities, flexible workspaces, events and programming designed to support creators and entrepreneurs.
Members will hear from Arif Gursel, Founder and Executive Director about The Union’s mission and services, how the organization is reducing barriers for creators and storytellers, and ways businesses and individuals can get involved — from membership and events to booking its creative spaces and supporting its nonprofit work.
Come meet fellow DSA members, explore The Union and join a conversation about how Seattle’s creative community can help shape the next chapter of downtown.
