DSA Demands Urgent Action on Public Safety

On Oct. 7, DSA, along with business, nonprofit and community leaders sent a letter to city and county elected officials asking for specific and urgent action to improve the crises of public safety and homelessness downtown. We’re seeking investments in mental health and substance abuse services along with more safety measures and housing. If these issues are not adequately addressed, downtown’s recovery and the health of the entire city is at risk.
